What to expect.

What to expect.

First, a thorough and detailed history of the main concern is taken and then questions about your general health and lifestyle are asked to understand the issue further. Next, a comprehensive examination is done to provide you with an accurate and clear diagnosis. If we can help you, we’ll tell you and if we can’t, we will find the most appropriate person that can. If necessary, you will be referred for x-rays or to your GP to facilitate any other imaging that may be needed. Once a diagnosis has been made, a plan will be given outlining the optimal recommendations for the best possible outcome. Obviously, we want to help you as quickly as possible so in most cases treatment can begin right away. Treatment is based on the most up to date scientific research and one modality is not superior than another therefore an array of different technique approaches are used while holistically considering the most suitable treatment option for you.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral to see a chiropractor however please bring any medical reports or scans that will help us understand your problem. We communicate and collaborate with your Doctor or other health practitioners to ensure you get the best care possible.

Dr. CampBell Allport

Chiropractor | BHSc (Chiro) | MClinChiro | Member of Chiropractic australia

Campbell was attracted to a natural healing approach, using hands on techniques to manipulate the spine and body in order to optimise health and wellbeing. He resonated with the philosophy that your body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism and was interested in the relationship between the nervous system and the spine and how that relationship affects our health. Campbell believes and expects you to be able to run, jump, lift, bend and move well regardless of the injuries you’ve had or how old you are.

Campbell completed his undergraduate training and Clinical Masters degree at RMIT University in Melbourne.

He then worked in the Occupational Health and Safety industry as an Injury Management Consultant gaining valuable experience in office and vehicle ergonomics, task analysis, manual handling risk assessment and pre-employment screening tests.

He is now solely in private practice and is a senior clinician in Melbourne and the founder of Beyond Better Health in Cheltenham, Victoria.

He has a special interest in working with sporting teams, athletes and the CrossFit community as well as working with pain sufferers of all ages and activity levels. Campbell grew up with a keen interest in many sports and played representative football and cricket so understands the physical and mental demands on the body and how chiropractic can help with recovery, optimal function, and performance.

Campbell has undertaken further study in Soft tissue therapy (ART), dry needling, Movement assessment (SFMA and FMS), Neuro Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, and mindfulness.

Campbell is currently working towards DIANM accreditation which is a Diplomat certification from the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
